This wonderfully aesthetic specimen exhibits numerous green garnets shrouded in a matrix of white fibrous asbestos. Two specimen labels are included.

Euhedral magnetite crystals associated with fine-grained pinkish-red andradite is found in marble from a skarn deposit near the Alpental ski area. The magentite and andradite have been etched from the marble. The magnetite has a bluish irridescence. The specimen is crystallized on both sides. A specimen label is included.
