PYROMORPHITE coating QUARTZ crystals |
| This is an aesthetic cluster of quartz crystals with a unique coating of pyromorphite crystals from the Madzharovo deposit in Bulgaria (see mindat.org page). The specimen is in excellent condition with no damage. Madjarovo was once an important mining area during the mid to late twentieth century, primarily for the extraction of lead and zinc. For the past few decades, mining activities in the Madjarovo area has decreased significantly, with only some small-scale private operations still active. The pyromorphite has a subtle fluorescence under short and longwave ultraviolet light. This is a great specimen for the pyromorphite or quartz collector. A specimen label is included. A professional polished acrylic base is provided with the purchase.

| This is an aesthetic cluster of slender acicular pyromorphite crystals on a bed of hematite from the Madjarovo deposit in Bulgaria. the specimen is in excellent condition. Madjarovo was once an important mining area during the mid to late twentieth century, primarily for the extraction of lead and zinc. For the past few decades, mining activities in the Madjarovo area has decreased significantly, with only some small-scale private operations still active. This is a great large thumbnail/toenail specimen for the pyromorphite collector. A specimen label is included.

PYROMORPHITE (Var: Ca-bearing Pyromorphite) |
| For sale is an outstanding lustrous translucent golden honey-colored cluster of polysphaerite, a rare Ca-bearing variety of pyromorphite from the 9th Level, Jersey Vein of the Bunker Hill Mine. Stubby hexagonal crystals with convex prism faces give the specimen a rounded, botryoidal appearance. The specimen has outstanding luster as if wet. A specimen label is included.
